Imran announces Minar-i-Pakistan power show on Sunday as twice-delayed PTI rally finally taken out: Pakistan

Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan announced a "power show" at the Minar-i-Pakistan monument in Lahore on Sunday, March 14. The announcement came as his Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party finally took out a rally in the city after two delays due to security concerns.

The rally, which began at the shrine of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh and ended at the Greater Iqbal Park, was attended by a large number of PTI supporters, including federal and provincial ministers. The party had initially planned to hold the rally on March 12, but it was postponed twice due to a security alert.

Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed the rally via video link, calling on his supporters to join him at the Minar-i-Pakistan on Sunday for a "historic" power show. The PTI government has been facing mounting criticism over rising inflation, unemployment, and an economic crisis in the country.
