Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo joins Saudi Arabia club Al Nassr

 Al N-A S R, based in Riyadh, has announced that football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a contract with the club for two and a half years.



The Portuguese forward left Manchester Joined last month following an unstable TV interview in which the 37-year-old said he felt sold out by the club and didn't regard their Dutch supervisor Erik ten Witch.


On Saturday, Al Nasr shared a picture of Ronaldo holding up the team's jersey, and the club called the deal "history in the making". 


In a tweet, the club stated, "This is a signing that will inspire our club to achieve even greater success, inspire our league, inspire our nation, and inspire future generations, boys and girls to be the best version of themselves". 


Ronaldo stated, "I feel that this is the right time to share my experience in Asia. I'm fortunate to have won everything I set out to win in European football". 


"I'm anticipating joining my new colleagues and along with them assist the Club with making progress". 


Al N-A S R said the five-time Ballon d'Or champ will join on an arrangement until 2025 however revealed no monetary subtleties. The media have estimated that Ronaldo's contract with the team is worth more than 215 million euros.
